IDENTITY DESIGN | BRANDING PROJECT
Defining who you are with words is hard enough; defining who you are as a brand is even harder. Figuring out who you are and what you represent is a journey and is subject to change, but this project is the beginning of finding out what my brand is and how I can use it to my advantage. Looking specifically at font pairings and color schemes, I started to create an aesthetic that I can relate to and that also represents me. Creating a resume, business card, and other professional documents essential to my success as a designer was made in mind with who I am and what I want to be doing.
Banner | Used for online banners as well as business cards. I wanted my brand to represent the energy and passion that I feel for doing what I love with illustration and combine that with my passion for heavy music.
Photoshoot | After designing the different components of this branding project--resume, business cards, and thank you letters--I chose specific props that fit with my aesthetic and photographed different compositions to show off the different aspects of each piece.
Logo | This is the logo that I decided to go with, but because of the vulgarity of it, I chose to use this icon strictly as an online presence accent, which is why you won't see this on any of my printed business cards or resumes. However, I do feel like this represents my brand and is not meant to offend anyone, only that it needs to be placed on the appropriate platform.
Business Cards | I designed two different business cards that I printed and can use interchangeably.
Branding Board | Shows off the fonts and colors I used to create my logos and other designs.
Flat Lay Photoshoot | I created this composition with all of the elements that went into this project, as well as added other props that I felt fit my aesthetic, such as headphones and markers because combining illustration and music is a big part of what I want to do with my career.
Presentation Board | This is a compilation of images that show off different aspects of this project on one board.
Instagram Video | Promotional video done for this project that shows off the different logos and banners that I created. The song I used is "The Lines" by Beartooth and is strictly being used for the purpose of this school project. Check out their other music here
